An anti-capitalist LGBTQIA+ program for the municipal elections
For the LGBTQIA+ population, Brazil is one of the most violent countries in the world. Bolsonaro and his supporters act to expand and entrench this violence through the promotion of ideological campaigns against this part of the population and the censorship of debates that promote respect for diversity. In these elections, we are faced with the challenge of drawing up an anti-capitalist and socialist LGBTQIA+ program that advances the struggle to defend LGBTQIA+ rights against fundamentalists, and in particular against Bolsonarista candidates. This program must also be counterposed to the projects of the political right and the center, which oppose the strengthening of public policies in this social sphere.
